	Gunnar Gunnar began his professional tattoo career in Connecticut in 1997. After working at various shops in Connecticut, including the world famous DARKSIDE TATTOO (which housed artists including ERIC MERRILL, JOE CAPOBIANCO AND NICK BAXTER). He moved to Columbus Ohio, to work with Durb Morrison at Stained Skin in Columbus Ohio. In 2000 he opened Gods and Monsters which was voted best tattoo studio in COLUMBUS OHIO all three years it was open. During his years he at GODS AND MONSTERS he began painting. After only a year of painting he was commissioned by NEW FOUND GLORY and Geffen Records to produce the album art for their 2004 album Catalyst. Catalyst went gold in its first year and was publicized heavily by geffen records allowing Gunnar's work to be seen by a worldwide audience. His art was even included in their video "All Down Hill From Here". After three years Gunnar closed his studio in Ohio and move to California to work with some of California's best tattoo artists. During this time Gunnar had his first solo show at Warped 9 Gallery in San Diego. He also participated in several group shows. Gunnar's list of clients includes members of THE USED, FINCH, NEW FOUND GLORY, HATEBREED, SUICIDE GIRLS, GOD GIRLS, as well as Jeffree Star and model Micheline Love. Gunnar recently moved back to Ohio and is currently working at High Street Tattoo in Columbus Ohio. He travels about 2 weeks a month and when he is home he can be found working on some new projects, including a new series of oil paintings, a few sketchbook projects and a new seminar or playing with his kids.
